GRANDPA JOE

In our opinion, the objects that best identify Grandpa Joe are: a bed, scruffy clothes and cabbage soup.   

We chose a bed because he is there all day long, resting; scruffy clothes because the family didn’t have money to buy clothes, and cabbage soup because he is so poor that he eats cabbage soup every day.

First he is affectionate, friendly and sensitive because he is always worried about the feelings of the people who live with him and the people he meets.  Besides, he was the first to say that he would go to the factory with Charlie.
Secondly, he is responsible, because he does what he has to do and he takes care of Charlie.  Moreover, he is tolerant and patient because he is the opposite of Veruca, he is not an anxious person.
As a conclusion, he is a nice person.
